International Food and Beverage Technology Association Adds Industry Leaders as New Board Members

Washington, D.C., November 16, 2020 – The International Food and Beverage Technology Association (IFBTA) announced the newest addition to the association, appointing five food and beverage technology executives to the Board of Directors.

The IFBTA’s Board of Directors serve as the backbone of the association, providing key insights and feedback on the state of the industry and a direction for the association to amplify its mission to the global food and beverage community. Consisting of top-tier executives from leading food and beverage companies around the world, the IFBTA board actively supports the industry, its workforce and leadership, and the innovations needed to sustain food and beverage technology.

IFBTA new board members include:

Karen Bird, CIO, Hooter’s of America

Sarah Naqvi, EVP and CIO, HMS Host

Zerrick Pearson, VP of IT, Five Guys Enterprises

Don Zimmerman, SVP and CIO, Landry’s

The new board members have been elected to a 3-year term beginning January 1, 2021 and will continue the tradition of IFBTA’s global industry leadership by representing technology within all segments of the industry.
